Activity Overview

• Cubs will meet at the Scout Hall at the usual start time of 7.00pm
• Cubs will bring donations for Gateway Family Services' Christmas Appeal - see below. The food will be transported to Gateway, so Cubs will not need to carry this
• Cubs will then walk to Gateway Family Services at 70 Old Bathurst Road, East Blaxland
• Cubs to be picked up from Gateway at 8.30pm. (Cubs will not be walking back to the Scout Hall.) 

Cost

• There is no cost for this activity.

Clothing & Equipment

• Cubs are expected to wear their uniform shirts and scarves, as well as walking shoes/joggers.
• Cubs should bring a small backpack with: jumper or jacket; raincoat; torch (head torches are great); water bottle.

Travel Arrangements

• Own transport.

Suggested Food Donations

1. Cubs are asked to bring along food to be donated to the Gateway Christmas Appeal
2. This food will be transported. Cubs don't need to carry the food, so feel free to be generous!
3. Requested food includes:

• Christmas cakes & fancy biscuits
• Large tins of tuna
• Savoury biscuits/crackers
• Instant coffee (jars)
• 1kg bags of rice
• Breakfast cereals
• Tinned veg (peas, carrots etc)
• Tinned pineapple/fruit salad
• Packets of lollies & snack food
• Sauces, chutney and dressing
